About us

  • Manvika foundation is a registered NGO, working on the cases of HIV/AIDS and child labor.

According to the World Health Organization, there are more than 34 million people living with HIV/AIDS worldwide, the majority of them in sub-Saharan Africa. One tenth of HIV/AIDS sufferers are children (3.4m) under the age of 15, with over 1,000 becoming infected every day. Without treatment, half of all infants with HIV will die before their second birthday.

For many children in India, school is just a dream. Caught in the cycle of poverty and exploitation, they are lost to education and thereby opportunities for life.

Through non-formal education and remedial classes, Manvika tries to decrease the rate of child labor in the state.
